In my frustration of the high costs that some online auction sites are charging sellers, I found a highly rated site that offers sellers very reasonable rates and has a sizable customer-base.
The site is eBid.
There are no listing fees, minimal final value fees ($0-3%) and it was easy to setup an account and list 2 items in 10 minutes. You just cannot beat that!
This one will save you tens of dollars a month or more!

Fix a dryer that is not heating
This handy how-to can not only save you a $75 service call but it could also prevent a fire hazard.
It took 20 minutes to fix a dryer that was not drying clothes all the way. No, it wasn't the heating element or the thermostat control. It was lint and dryer sheets! Go figure! Lint and dryer sheets had built up in the dryer vent pipe. So here's how I solved it:
1. checked the outside vent with the dryer running to see if the air was flowing
2. no air was flowing so I found that lint was blocking the edge of the vent
3. remove the lint and check for airflow again. I found airflow to still be less than optimal
4. checked the other areas in the vent line that had long horizontal sections
5. removed the lint from the horizontal areas.
6. airflow was great...all done.
Dryer dries like new!

Fixing a refrigerator that leaks from the freezer
This handy how-to could save you $75 or more in a service call...
It took me only 45 minutes and some hot water to fix my Fridgidaire refrigerator that was leaking water all over the top shelf from the freezer. It turns out that the drain hole in the back of the freezer was plugged with ice build-up. If you have a problem similar to mine, check the drain first! It's not hard and you do not have to fully defrost your fridge.
All I did was:
1. clear out the freezer
2. unscrew and remove the bottom tray in the freezer
3. carefully remove all ice build-up
4. use a turkey baster with very hot water and squirt it in the condensation drain hole
5. you will need to do step 4. a few times, using the turkey baster to remove water that has cooled first before squirting more hot water.
